Get Ready For GRAMMY Live

(Join us right here on Friday, Feb. 11 at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET, as GRAMMY Live kicks off with the best and brightest in social media with the Social Media Rock Stars Summit.)
Follow the 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards in style with GRAMMY Live — three days of live coverage of the VIP events leading up to Music's Biggest Night. Beginning Friday, Feb. 11, GRAMMY Live's real-time, innovative online broadcast will include video, photos, blogging, tweets and retweets, as well as official news reports and personalized updates from GRAMMY Live hosts.

Exclusive behind-the-scenes GRAMMY cams will give the audience an insider's view into some of the hottest GRAMMY Week events, including the Social Media Rock Stars Summit; MusiCares Person of the Year honoring Barbra Streisand; Special Merit Awards Ceremony & Nominees Reception; the star-studded Pre-GRAMMY Gala featuring the 2011 GRAMMY Salute To Industry Icons honoring David Geffen; and all the action on GRAMMY Sunday, including the 53rd GRAMMY Awards red-carpet arrivals, the Pre-Telecast Ceremony and the official GRAMMY Celebration after-party.

Additional behind-the-scenes footage will offer viewers a "dual-screen" GRAMMY experience, complementing the CBS telecast of the show with red-carpet coverage, backstage interviews, exclusive photo sessions with winners (Danny Clinch cam), press room question-and-answer sessions, and past GRAMMY Moments.   • Social Media Rock Stars Summit and After-Party2–4 p.m.

    Live from the Conga Room at L.A. Live, musicians Adam Lambert and Chamillionaire and social media pioneers from Facebook, Foursquare and Pandora will provide an insider's view into the future of social networking in mobile and music platforms. The summit will be moderated by veteran broadcast music journalist John Norris. Following the discussion, our GRAMMY Live hosts will rub elbows and speak with the rock star panelists.

    Learn about the important educational programs presented by the GRAMMY Foundation, and view footage from the 2009 and 2010 GRAMMY Camp Showcases and GRAMMY In The Schools Live! featuring performances by the GRAMMY Jazz Ensembles and guest stars.
  • MusiCares Person of the Year honoring Barbra Streisand
    7:30–9 p.m.

    Get an exclusive look at one of GRAMMY Week's most prestigious events, the MusiCares Person of the Year gala honoring the legendary Barbra Streisand. Our hosts will take you to the red carpet, interview the stars as they arrive, and discuss the influence and impact of Streisand's monumental career.

    Your front-row ticket to a private event honoring recipients of The Recording Academy's Special Merit Awards and 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards nominees. Watch as GRAMMY-winning artist Julie Andrews, legendary jazz drummer Roy Haynes, influential punk group the Ramones, and country diva Dolly Parton, among others, are presented with their Special Merit Awards. Then, tune in to see 53rd GRAMMY nominees receive their nominee medallions and celebrate music's most prestigious honor.

    On the eve of Music's Biggest Night, we give you a VIP ticket to the exclusive party of all GRAMMY Week parties, the Pre-GRAMMY Gala, hosted by The Recording Academy and legendary music industry executive Clive Davis. Our hosts will take you to all the action on the red carpet, where they will interact with the biggest stars in entertainment. This year's gala will also feature the GRAMMY Salute To Industry Icons, honoring influential music and film executive David Geffen.

  • 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards Pre-Telecast Ceremony
    1–3:15 p.m.

    GRAMMY Live is your destination to watch the entire GRAMMY Pre-Telecast Ceremony, which will announce awards in 98 categories live as it happens. The Pre-Telecast will be co-hosted by current GRAMMY nominees Bobby McFerrin and Esperanza Spalding, and will feature performances by blues musician Buddy Guy, singer/songwriter Cyndi Lauper, contemporary blues artist Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and legendary gospel singer Mavis Staples, among others.
     
  • 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards Dual-Screen Experience5–8:30 p.m.

    See the GRAMMYs like you've never seen them before with our exciting "dual-screen" experience.
